Diagnosis and Treatment Plan

has been feeling pretty good, but she wasn't able to stick to the eating schedule. says she wakes up around 630am, breakfast is closer to 7am. feels like she's thrown everything off and "it's all messed up," had a moment where she had not eaten for a while and said it resulted in her feeling jittery, shaky, lightheaded, dizzy, overheated

teach: hunger and fullness cues

new schedule:
630am wakeup
700am breakfast
900am snack
1130am lunch
3pm snack
6pm dinner
830pm snack
930pm bedtime

programmed schedule into her phone this session

felt like eating smaller meals was helping -- said she could go right back to what she was doing. larger meals had issues -- urgency going to bathroom, feeling tired

not many digestive issues this week

periods are exceptionally debilitatingly painful. 7 days long. takes bc w/o sugar pills, period every 3 months. birth control helps with pain.

is interested in eating healthier, is not necessarily interested in losing weight. is interested in not being winded when she walks.

nutrition education: myplate. which ones do you like?
--protein: beef, pork, chicken, cheese, beans, wants to try chickpeas, wiling to try nuts
--grains: pasta, bread, rice (rarely whole)
--fruit: bananas, strawberries, grapes, kiwi, blueberries, oranges (doesn't love texture)
--veg: potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, cooked broccoli, salads, avocado
doesn't feel like she follows something like myplate, instead just chooses whatever is available, whatever doesn't require much prep, and whatever tastes good

  1. future: hunger/fullness cues
  2. eat 3x/wk no distractions
