Changes / challenges since last visit

1. Karla currently has braces, began wearing rubber bands, which has affected eating. She has been mainly eating 1 meal a day in the last 2 weeks, mainly since Tuesday, 5/28/24,

2. Busy schedule, mainly eating 1 meal and a fruit serving the last 2 weeks.

3. With school program/schedule, Karla was on her feet a lot, but has been doing more walking during the weekends, at 20 minutes.

Meal plan updates

1. Eating more fruit, 2-3 servings a day in the last 2 weeks. Ex. watermelon, oranges, cherries, grapes

2. Increased some vegetable intake in some meals, for example - sandwiches (lettuce, tomato, onion); eating some celery.


1. Adding 2-3 more vegetable choices in the next week. RD to send simple and basic recipes. Use food journal to document meal intake.

2. Increase walking - build up to 25 minutes, 3 days a week. Use journal to document physical activity.

3. Purchase Living PCOS Free book off Amazon; focus on chapters 32 and 33 for the 21 day program; chapter 12 for learning more about plant-based dietary approaches.
