Foods/ideas to emphasize:

Client should try to follow the sodium rul of 500-600 mg at meals and 200-300 mg at snakcs. Client should try tofocus on building the Healthy eating Plate from Harvard and focus on non-starchy vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Client should try to keep her hunger and fullness scale between a 4 and a 7 to prevent overeating.

Foods to limit:

Salt, sugar, fatty meats, refined flours

Interventions:

Education will continue. Client should try to build the Healthy eating Plate from Harvard and begin to watch her sodium aiming for the sodium rule mentioned above.

Short term dietary goals

1. Have vegetables at least 1x per day.

2. Have at least 8-10 gasses of water per day. 10-12 would be better.

3. Try to build plates like the Healthy Eating Plate rom Harvard.

Short term exercise goals

1. Get 10 minutes of movement per day.
