Intervention

1. CLIENT WILL MAINTAIN BG LEVELS WITHIN 80-130MG/DL CONSISTENTLY

3. CLIENT WILL BE ABLE TO VERBALIZE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE CURRENT DIET RECOMMENDATION AND WILL TRY TO FOLLOW AT HOME. CLIENT WILL MAINTAIN MODERATE CARBOHYDRATE DIET (THREE MEALS PLUS TWO SNACKS)

4. CLIENT WILL DECREASE SALTY FOODS/ALTERNATE SUBSTITUTIONS SUCH AS MRS. DASH/LF PRODUCTS .

5. CLIENT WILL UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF TIMING OF MEALS/AVOIDING CONCENTRATED SWEETS SPECIFICALLY COMING FROM SIMPLE SUGAR SUCH AS FRUIT JUICES/CANDIES/COOKIES.

6. CLIENT WILL INCREASE INTAKE OF FLUIDS AND MAINTAIN ADEQUATE HYDRATION.                          7. CLIENT WILL BE ABLE TO WALK 30 MINUTES THREE DAYS PER WEEK/FOCUS ON WEIGHT TRAINING TWO DAYS PER WEEK.

8. CLIENT WILL JOURNAL WEEKLY AND INCORPORATE MEAL PATTERNS/INTAKE.

9. CLIENT WILL LOSE 1-2LBS WEIGH LOSS ON THE WEEKLY BASIS UNTIL REACH THE GOAL OF 190LBS
