Background

I was born in India and moved to America in my early teen years. With many new food choices and habits, I gained a significant amount of weight in a matter of a few short years. Thank God to my middle school teacher who gave me wise advice in healthy eating and exercise.

Later, I took General Nutrition as an elective and was amazed by this new world of nutrition and health, and I changed my major to Nutrition. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Benedictine University, and Dietetic Internship from New York Institute of Technology. I have over 15 years of experience in weight management, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and healthy eating education. I love applying what I learned to myself, my family, and sharing with whoever desires it.
